Zoom Integration & OAuth Data Collection

When you use the Zoom Integration features on our Website and authorize our application via Zoom’s secure OAuth 2.0 protocol, we request access to metadata limited strictly to your approved scopes. This specific information includes:

  • User Profile & Verification Data (user:read:user, user:read:zak): Your unique Zoom User ID, Display Name, and secure verification tokens (such as ZAK tokens) required to authenticate scheduling transactions on your behalf.
  • Meeting & Event Data (meeting:write:meeting, meeting:read:meeting, meeting:delete:meeting, meeting:update:meeting): Core operational specifics required by our scheduling booking platform, such as Meeting Topics, Scheduled Times, Durations, and structural Join URLs (join_url).

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our Website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website.
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include Browser Cookies and Web Beacons. We do not collect personal information automatically, but we may tie non-personal information collected automatically to personal information about you that we collect from other sources or that you provide to us.

Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Some content or applications on the Website are served by third parties. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our website. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used.

How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

  • To present our Website and its contents to you.
  • To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.
  • For Zoom Integration Functionality: To allow authorized users to seamlessly schedule, display, update, and manage Zoom video meetings, and automatically sync invitees directly through their Personal Empowerment Teams user account.
  • To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
  • To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
  • To notify you about changes to our Website or any products or services we offer or provide through it.

Disclosure and Sharing of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual without restriction.

We disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Company’s assets.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
  • With your consent.

Crucial Zoom Privacy Guarantee:

We never sell, rent, trade, or share any credentials, access tokens, profile metadata, or structural meeting information retrieved from the Zoom API with third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or marketing aggregates. Your Zoom data is processed strictly server-side to execute your requested scheduling commands.

We may also disclose your personal information to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, or others.

Data Security, Encryption, and Retention

1. Token Encryption

We implement stringent technical architecture to ensure your access privileges remain uncompromised. All retrieved Zoom access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted immediately upon receipt before being written to our database. Encryption utilizes industry-standard AES-256-CBC protocols combined with secure environment salts generated locally on our WordPress infrastructure.

2. Retention & Deauthorization Compliance (Data Wipe)

We respect your complete right over your data footprint. Stored data is retained only as long as you maintain an active account linkage:

  • Manual Platform Disconnect: Disconnecting your integration using the “Disconnect Zoom” dashboard option immediately executes an absolute erasure of all linked Zoom user metadata, Zoom IDs, access tokens, and refresh tokens from our active servers.
  • Automated Compliance Webhook: In absolute conformance with the Zoom Marketplace Developer Requirements, our Website handles live Data Compliance notifications. If you deauthorize our application directly inside your Zoom Marketplace account panel, our server intercepts the automated app_deauthorized payload securely and automatically executes a systemic wipe of your stored data records within minutes, completely eliminating lingering retention.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent.
  • Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your email address/contact information used by the Company to promote our own products or services, you can opt-out by checking the relevant box located on the form on which we collect your data or at any other time by sending us an email stating your request to Joseph@PersonalEmpowermentTeams.me.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change your personal information by sending us an email at Joseph@PersonalEmpowermentTeams.me to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We may not be able to delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Your State Privacy Rights

State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia provide (now or in the future) their state residents with rights to confirm processing, access, correct, delete, port, or opt-out of personal data tracking/sales.
